Prince William is a big fan of Taylor Swift.
The royal has told how he cringed when he first bumped into the singer.
The pair met when the former royal patron of the Teenage Cancer Trust turned up at the singer’s concert in London on Thursday.
William has long been patron of the charity, which promotes music therapy in cancer care, and attended a recent concert in Davos with Swift.
“My first meeting with Taylor Swift was in Manchester at the Teenage Cancer Trust show, and I remember being so nervous and then so nervous, and then ultimately, well, I was cringing, and she really was too. But what a fantastic young lady,” he said.
“For us to be able to say we were in the room and we heard those beautiful songs and saw how fantastic the artists are, it just goes to show you how powerful music can be.”
Swift, who released her sixth album Reputation in November, has partnered with the charity to raise money for research and to spread its music therapy messages.
During her show at Manchester Arena in October, Swift gave the charity £50,000 and presented Prince William with a guitar.
